Who cares?

So many people are probably wondering what the hell I'm talking about. Where did I come up with all of this self-righteous sounding stuff about generation Y? Well, it wasn't actually me, there are a number of decent books out there that drawn on some fairly seriously sized sociological studies. The World According to Y, Rebecca Huntley, and the previously mentioned Millenials Rising: The next great generation, By Howe and Strauss.

Still, that still leaves the question of who cares? The answer is simple: You should! You, generation Y! Why? Well, the oldest among us (1982 or so) have now graduated college, and have moved into the workforce, we're adults, and it's time to start influencing our world in positive ways. Time to start making the changes that we want, so that the world reflects our values, rather than those of previous generations.

Cheesy as I am sure it sounds, it really is your world now.
